INCOME REQUIREMENTS

  • The minimum age is 25 years. There is no maximum age limit.
  • Drivers under 25 years of age subject to approval and with additional cost according to the reserved category.
  • Present an original and valid driver's license, with a photograph. With a minimum of 1 year of validity, IT DOES NOT MATTER FROM THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.
  • Official identification (INE in the case of clients of Mexican nationality and passport in the case of foreigners).
  • WARRANTY DEPOSIT

As support for the rental agreement, we require a security deposit on each rental. This deposit, as agreed by both parties, will be used to cover extras and/or damage or loss caused to the rented vehicle not covered by insurance.

This deposit will be pre-authorized and withheld on your credit card and will be released upon return of the vehicle.

The deposit amount will depend on the vehicle category selected. From $450.00 USD for subcompact cars to $1,500.00 USD for large trucks.

  • We only accept ( credit cardVISA, MASTERCARD & AMERICAN EXPRESS) for escrow under the following terms:
    1. The credit card must be CUSTOMIZED and with a minimum of 1 year of issue.
    2. DIGITAL CARDS OR CARDS FROM (NU, STORI, INVEX, ETC. AND/OR SOFOM) FINANCIAL PLATFORMS ARE NOT ACCEPTED
    3. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS ISSUED BY DEPARTMENT STORES
    4. WE DO NOT ACCEPT BANK CARDS FROM BANBAJIO, DISCOVERY, BANCO AZTECA, BANCOPPEL

     


    ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

    YERARI CAR RENTAL grants a free driver at the rental cost, if the client requires an additional third driver they will cost 6 USD per day.

     


    Tolls and Fines / Trafic Tickets

    In the event of an accident or roadside assistance and this generates fines, traffic tickets or any type of ticket or Tow Truck Towing, they will be solely and exclusively by the Client, it is NOT covered by any coverage.

    Tolls or roadside booths are the direct responsibility of the client, they are NOT included in their rent.

     


    GUARANTEE DEPOSIT POLICY

    YERARI CAR RENTAL or SERVICE PROVIDERS for security, do not accept security deposits in cash, in any type of currency, only credit cards in which a bank authorization of the credit card presented will be requested, this will be a block as a backup of the lease contract. The amount will depend on the category of the vehicle.

     


     

    FUEL

    Fuel is NOT included in the total rental cost. To avoid additional charges on returning the car, restock the vehicle with the same amount you received at pickup. Normally we try to deliver all vehicles with a full tank, otherwise the gasoline level at the time of delivery is clearly indicated in the rental or lease agreement. Please note that when we charge for fuel, we use our own fuel tables, not those used at gas stations. There are no refunds for excess gasoline. If there is a shortage of gasoline, it will be charged as follows:

    • category A vehicles: 18 USD per eighth missing
    • Category B vehicles: 23 USD per eighth missing
    • Category C vehicles: 28 USD per eighth missing

     


     

    RETURN OF THE VEHICLE

    At the end of the lease, the client must return the vehicle to the branch stipulated on the cover of their contract, the client has a tolerance period of 30 minutes, starting from the time recorded in the lease contract. After the stipulated time, for each additional hour, it will cost from 18 USD depending on the vehicle rented up to a maximum of 3 hours, after 3 hours delay, the full day will be charged.

    Vehicles are 100% smoke free, smoking is strictly prohibited in vehicles, any extreme dirt outside of normal use will be subject to an additional charge.

     


     

    REFUNDS

    In prepaid reservations, if the client does not present any of the documents indicated above, the documentation is not valid, legible or does not have sufficient balance on their credit card, the vehicle rental agent may refuse to rent and NO refund will be refundable.

    • Cancellations notified 3 days in advance will have no penalty.
    • Cancellations notified 1 or 2 days in advance will have a one-day rental charge penalty.
    • Cancellations received on the same day or NO SHOW will have a 100% penalty for rental charge.

      *NOTE: When you cancel 3 days (o plus) in advance, there will be a 10% prepayment charge. This is the cost of processing the refund, not a penalty.

     

    *ADVANCED RETURN*

    After the vehicle has been picked up and you have paid your rental period, if you need to return the vehicle before the expiration of the rental contract for any reason other than related to YERARI CAR RENTAL AND/OR THE SERVICE PROVIDER, we will not be able to refund any money for unused days. However, we will be happy to credit these unused rental days on a future rental.

     


     

    INSURANCE POLICIES

    In the event of an accident, the driver must immediately inform THE SERVICE PROVIDER to follow up with the insurance company, which requires that the driver in the event of an accident must be authorized and registered in the lease contract and must present his or her current driver's license with a photograph. Likewise, remain at the scene of the accident to fill out the report required by the insurance company.  

    Likewise, you must meet the following requirements:

    • That the driver is not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medications contraindicated for operating machinery or driving.
    • The damage or accident must be reported immediately at the time it occurs and at the scene. The vehicle NO you must be moved from the scene of the accident or damage until the insurance agent arrives to gather evidence unless any authority indicates otherwise.

    YERARI CAR RENTAL AND/OR SERVICE PROVIDERS, DOES NOT have agreements with third parties such as credit cards, websites, reservation engines, insurers and/or banking institutions for the protection of damage caused to the vehicle, these types of protections are handled in a refundable manner so the only protected person is the cardholder or insured and you must review the process with your insurance, for this reason IT IS NOT APPLICABLE IN OUR LEASE.

    Reservation Policies

    YERARI CAR RENTAL AND SERVICE PROVIDERS they will honor all reservations received, these reservations must cover all rental requirements, otherwise we reserve the right to decline a reservation, the same may be if you notice that the information provided is erroneous or has been altered (ej. Altered name, altered price, etc.).

    YERARI CAR RENTAL AND SERVICE PROVIDERS they offer their services based on vehicle categories and we will respect the code that our partner sends, it is important to clarify that the images of the advertised vehicles are illustrative only, so we will honor the requested category, but not the vehicle of the published illustrative image.

    It is important to mention that YERARI CAR RENTAL AND SERVICE PROVIDERS they will have a waiting time of two hours from the pick-up time that marks their reservation as long as the client sends their flight information, it is important to mention that if your flight is delayed or delayed, the customer must call or send us an email to notify any change in their pick-up time.

    If you do not have flight information after two hours YERARI CAR RENTAL AND SERVICE PROVIDERS the right to customer service is reserved and will be based on the availability of vehicles.

    After two hours of delay, the reservation will be considered a No Show and we may or may not honor your reservation, depending on availability.


    Geographic Restrictions

    SERVICE PROVIDERS they offer authorization to cross the southern border of the Mexican Republic to the countries of Belize and Guatemala. Only under the following instructions:

    Belize:

    The permit for Belize is delivered at the time of vehicle collection. Issuing the permit letter has a cost of $25 and it must be requested at the time of making your vehicle rental contract and will be delivered to you at that same time.

    The insurance included in the rent is valid only within the Mexican Republic, the client must purchase insurance required by the government of Belize, which you must request at the country's border to circulate without any problem.

    Guatemala:

    To cross into Guatemala, a notarized letter is required, which requires a period of time 48 hours to be delivered. This document has a cost of $180. Notaries and government offices do not work on weekends and holidays. Therefore this service can be offered in the following way:

    • Rentals from Monday to Friday before 12:00 pm are delivered within 48 hours.
    • Friday rentals after 12:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays, are delivered the following Tuesday.
    • Holidays and holidays in Mexico, delivery time is subject to the availability of the notary, which may vary from 48 to 72 hours.
    • If the client requires the letter at the time of taking the vehicle, they must cover two additional days of rent, since the vehicle will be blocked in order to begin the notarial process.

    These documents will be delivered only to locations in the SERVICE PROVIDER (cannot be sent via email), so the client must inform the nearest location to receive it at the time of making their contract.

    The aforementioned documentation must be requested from the reservations or customer service departments for scheduling and payment.

    *Border crossing to Belize or Guatemala from the Mérida branch is not permitted.

     


    Road Assistance

    Ours SERVICE PROVIDERS they offer road assistance to all their clients without exception, there will only be a charge if the client does not purchase SRA Road Assistance coverage.

    In the event that road assistance is generated by negligence, mishandling and/or misuse of the vehicle, the client will have a charge, which will be according to the quote for the damages generated.

    Is important mention that ours SERVICE PROVIDERS they offer vehicles with conditions for tourist and normal day-to-day use, but not for use on sandy beaches, beaches, unpaved roads or rocky areas.

    The communication channels will be in the contract that each SERVICE PROVIDER provide and they will give you instructions on how to make reports if you need it.
